Math 5
Grade 5 students will be able to multiply decimals by whole numbers and decimals, write zeros as placeholders in the product, divide by 10, 100, and 1000, and divide decimals by whole numbers.
Math 6
Grade 6 students will be able to examine the parts of a circle, identify and draw transformations and symmetry, determine which figures are tessellations, and classify solid figures.
Grade 7 Pre-Algebra
Grade 7 students will be able to find the probability of compound events, and calculate the surface area and volume of a cylinder and rectangular and triangular prisms.
Grade 8 Algebra
Grade 8 students will be able to review probability, identify sample statistics and population parameters, and use formulas to find the volume of cones, cylinders, and spheres.
Spelling/Vocabulary 7-8
Grade 7 and 8 students will study the list words in Unit 13.
Typing
Grades 7 and 8 students will practice typing using the program typing.com.
