Math 4

Grade 4 students will be able to multiply money amounts by 1-digit multipliers, multiply 4-digit numbers by 1-digit multipliers with and without regrouping, use patterns to multiply by 10 and multiples of 10, and use rounding to estimate products.

Math 5

Grade 5 students will be able to write fractions in lowest terms (simplest form), write a fraction in greater terms, list the common multiples and find the least common multiple (LCM) of a set of numbers, and read, write, and graph mixed numbers.

Math 6

Grade 6 students will be able to use formulas to solve problems, use a calculator to evaluate expressions, solve multistep problems, and use various strategies to solve word problems, including evaluating expressions and solving equations.

Grade 7 Pre-Algebra

Grade 7 students will be able to solve equations by multiplying or diving, solve and write two-step equations review the six lessons under expressions and equations, and take a practice test.

Grade 8 Algebra

Grade 8 students will be able to write equations in point-slope form, write an equation for the line that passes through a given point and is parallel to the graph, determine whether a graph shows a positive, negative, or no correlation, and find the inverse of an ordered pair.

Religion

Grades 7 and 8 will be able to finish their mobile of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, understand their friendship with God is strengthened through prayer, and compare and contrast private and community prayer.
